Perini/Tompkins Joint Venture Awarded Gaylord
National Resort and Convention Center Project

Perini/Tompkins Joint Venture has been awarded the $350 million
Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center project in Prince
George’s County, Maryland for Gaylord Hotels, the country’s leading
hospitality brand dedicated to large meetings and conventions, owned
by Gaylord Entertainment Co. (NYSE:GET). The project is scheduled
for completion in early 2008. The 42-acre site is the cornerstone of
the National Harbor Development located on the Potomac River just
outside of Washington, DC. The elements of the project include 1,503
hotel rooms, over 400,000 square feet of convention and meeting
space, and parking for 2,600 cars. A 65,000-square-foot glass atrium
will be constructed in the signature style for which the Gaylord
Hotels brand is known. Perini/Tompkins Joint Venture is a joint
venture of the Perini Corporation of Framingham, MA and Tompkins
Builders, Inc. of Washington, DC.
