Tompkins Builders Announces Promotions and
Additions to Senior Management Team

In keeping with Tompkins Builders’ portfolio of qualified and
exceptional individuals, Tompkins Builders is pleased to announce
the new addition of Construction Executive Robert Holt. Tompkins
Builders is also especially proud of the current in-house talent and
congratulates Matthew McCabe, Moe Dashti and Derek Brown for their
promotions to Vice President of Finance, Vice President of
Estimating and Purchasing and Construction Executive respectively.

Moe
Dashti, Vice President of Estimating and Purchasing
Mr. Dashti has been involved in the construction industry for
over 26 years, and has been part of Tompkins Builders’ extended
family since 1987. His invaluable experience and leadership have
allowed him to successfully manage the Estimating Department’s $1 to
$1.5 billion workload, all the while maintaining a hit ratio of
nearly 30%. Mr. Dashti’s successful portfolio includes the Sustained
Center of Excellence headquarters at Fort Lee, St. Elizabeths New
Hospital, Public Safety Facility in Santa Monica, California, and
Park 22 Office Complex in Austin, Texas. Mr. Dashti has Bachelors
degree from Auburn University and resides in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Matthew
McCabe, Vice President of Finance
Mr. McCabe’s background in facilities and construction
management has been an asset to Tompkins Builders since 2005, when
he joined the company as a Financial Manager. Previously, Mr. McCabe
served as Financial Manager for Turner Construction Company,
Tompkins Builders’ parent company. With the benefit of more than 11
years in the construction industry, Mr. McCabe oversees all company
finance and accounting activities and is actively involved in risk
management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University
of Massachusetts. He currently resides in Purcellville, Virginia
with his wife Stephanie and their children Caitlin and Dylan.

Derek
Brown, Construction Executive
With nearly 12 years of experience in construction, Mr. Brown
joined Tompkins Builders in 1996 as an Estimator. Since then, Mr.
Brown has risen through the ranks until eventually becoming a Senior
Project Manger in 2005. During this time, Mr. Brown has
distinguished himself as an innovative and reliable leader on a
number of significant projects in the DC Metro area including,
Capitol Hill Towers, Marriott Courtyard, 1210 Massachusetts Avenue,
Hilton Garden Inn in Arlington, Gallery Place, and Hotel Monaco. Mr.
Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from
Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He lives in
Annandale, Virginia with his wife Cheri and their two children,
Dixon and Kemper.
Robert
(Randy) Holt, Construction Executive
Mr. Holt brings to Tompkins Builders more than 25 years of
experience in the construction industry with various
responsibilities from Field Engineer to Superintendent to Project
Executive. A construction engineering specialist, Mr. Holt has
overseen and/or played a major role on projects ranging in value
from $14 million to $640 million. Among these are the Kaiser Data
Center in Silver Spring, University of Baltimore Student Center,
National Maritime Technology Information Center and the University
of Maryland-Shady Grove Education Center III, Commerce Executive VI
in Reston, the Boston Convention Center and projects for the Kellogg
Company, Bethlehem Steel Corporation and Alcoa Aluminum. Mr. Holt
has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from
Pennsylvania State University. He currently resides in Maryland with
his wife Megan, and two children Rachel and Chris.
