Tompkins Builders Awarded $140 Million Contract To Construct
New St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Washington, D.C., November 27, 2006
Tompkins Builders, Inc., a subsidiary of Turner Construction
Company, has been selected to serve as the general contractor to
construct the $140 million St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington,
D.C.
The scope of work will include construction of a
438,000-sq.-ft., 2-story full-service hospital situated on 49 acres.
The facility will accommodate 230 beds and is scheduled for
completion in March 2009.
